A very short preview of what appears to be Matthew Broderick jumping back into his most famous character, the title role in 1986’s Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, for an upcoming Super Bowl commercial has found its way online.
What the commercial is for or what Bueller might be up to is not yet know, but he appears to be in a rather lovely hotel. Has he gone on to make millions as most would have expected him to do, or is he just up to his old tricks, using his charm to get what he wants? Will his best friends be making cameos? Who knows!

Monty Python To Reunite For ‘Absolutely Anything’
Before you get too excited, no, Monty Python is not officially reuniting for some more Flying Circus action. It does appear, however, that the remaining members of the legendary comedy troupe will once again be combining their talents for an upcoming movie titled Absolutely Anything, which is set to be directed by Pythoner Terry Jones.
The movie will be a sci-fi comedy that combines live action and CGI. It tells the story of a group of aliens who choose a human to give the incredible power to do, well…quite literally absolutely anything just to see how badly they mess things up with their new abilities. At the moment, other Python members John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, and Michael Palin have all agreed to take part, and producers are currently talking to Eric Idle about joining. And who will the gang play? You guessed it, they’ll be voicing the aliens who give the human this power.

Yes. Throughout their history, The Criterion Collection has been the bastion of the purest of pure arthouse and intellectual cinema. Godard’s Breathless or their theatrical releases by backers Janus Film, who helped singlehandedly created the arthouse format. However, never let it be said that even they don’t like themselves a few genre films.

When the Academy Award nominations were announced on Tuesday morning many expected debates were sparked about who was left out and who shouldn’t have been nominated in the first place, but for one of the nominees in the Best Actor category, the announcement was a long time in the making.
Gary Oldman has been acting for more than three decades, and in that time he has aged gracefully from an intense and hungry young actor to a classy and dignified performer who can bring great amounts of gravitas to every character he plays. Oldman has played punk rock icons (Sid & Nancy), classical music icons (Immortal Beloved), literary villains (Bram Stoker’s Dracula), grotesque villains (Hannibal, Leon, True Romance), not-so-grotesque villains (Air Force One), and many others. In recent years he has enhanced his acting resume with prominent roles with in the blockbuster Batman and Harry Potter franchises. In 1997 Oldman made his directorial debut with the acclaimed indie Nil By Mouth.
