UPDATED! Video: Matthew Broderick Becomes Ferris Bueller Again For Super Bowl Commercial
Posted by The Movie God | January 26th, 2012 at 9:12 pm
A very short preview of what appears to be Matthew Broderick jumping back into his most famous character, the title role in 1986′s Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, for an upcoming Super Bowl commercial has found its way online.
What the commercial is for or what Bueller might be up to is not yet know, but he appears to be in a rather lovely hotel. Has he gone on to make millions as most would have expected him to do, or is he just up to his old tricks, using his charm to get what he wants? Will his best friends be making cameos? Who knows!
You can check out the brief preview below now.
UPDATE: According to Jalopnik (via The Live Feed), the commercial is for Honda, and that Old School and The Hangover writer/director Todd Phillips may have have made it with Broderick.
HAHA, awesome! Amazing how many awesome 80s memories four syllables bring to mind: Chicka Chi-KAH!!
Smiles!

It’s Superbowl Sunday. Perhaps we’ll see something special? Maybe he’ll sing Twist and Shout at the Superbowl? Anything going on around Chicago that day? Hm…

Ugh…rumored to be a Honda CRV commercial that recreates, shot for shot, the stunts filmed with Cameron’s dad’s Ferrari. =(
