Every day here at Doom HQ we receive tons of tips from our readers about really cool stuff from the world of geek, as well as promotional materials for new films, comic books, collectibles, and much more. While we do our best to bring you as much of it as possible, we don’t always have enough geek manpower available to cover it all on a daily basis. But we hate the idea of all of this really cool stuff wasting away in our inbox. How could we NOT cover it? Hence why we’ve resurrected our long-defunct column Bits Of Doom, now rebranded and revamped as Doom Digest, a collection of easily digestible bits of news, videos, photos, and other goodies.

Ghostbusters – Haunted Mansion

Inside The Magic shared this photo on Facebook from The Rat Gallery in Anaheim, CA, of a piece of artwork that’s a mash-up of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion attraction and the movie Ghostbusters. The piece is part of the gallery’s Disney-inspired artwork on display Thursdays and Saturdays from 12-5 until June 2, 2012.

Interview with the Vampire: Claudia’s Story

This November, Yen Press will publish Interview with the Vampire: Claudia’s Story, the graphic novel adaptation of Anne Rice‘s Interview with the Vampire that is told through the eyes of the character Claudia. Ashley Marie Witter illustrates the graphic novel from Rice’s story. Interview with the Vampire: Claudia’s Story will be released on November 20, 2012.

Prometheus – Quiet Eye

I’m proud to say that even though it seems like there’s nothing left to learn about Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, I have managed stay away from all trailers, featurettes, and viral material for the movie. But pretty much every day, something shows up about the movie in my inbox. Most recently, it’s this video called “Quiet Eye” – watch it here below.
