Bryan Singer To Direct ‘X-Men: First Class’ Sequel ‘Days Of Future Past’

Recently we found out that X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn was walking away from the sequel, X-Men: Days of Future Past. At the time, it was said that the name at the top of Twentieth Century Fox’s list to replace Vaughn, was none other than X-Men and X2 director Bryan Singer.
Now comes word that Singer has indeed been confirmed for the movie, having just finalized a deal with Fox. The roles look as if they’ll be reversed, as well, as Vaughn is near a deal that would allow him to at least produce the sequel, along with Lauren Shuler Donner and writer Simon Kinberg.
The screenplay for Days of Future Past is already completed, and First Class stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Jennifer Lawrence are all set to return.
The movie is currently set for release on July 18, 2014.
Oh, dear. It couldn’t get any worse for me. He is useless.

he is going to bring his usual dull approach to this sequel, one i was looking forward to. not any more.

Singer is one of the upper echelon(not elite) directors in Hollywood. That may not say much as there are few worth a damn but complaining about him directing the new one seems a bit silly when there are so many worse choices they could have (and usually do) make.
