Jay and Seth Versus the Apocalypse

In just a matter of hours, depending on what part of the world you live on of course, the world will come to an end. So Seth Rogen found it appropriate to release first trailer/clip for his new end of the world comedy This is the End, formally known as Jay and Seth Versus the Apocalypse. Rogen along with fellow co-star James Franco introduce the footage from the film in true vulgar fashion.

Let’s just say it involves weed, lewd acts, and sex toys. Of course there is much more to see. Continue below to see the first trailer or clip for This is the End.

Rogen announced the release of the trailer on his Twitter account earlier today. I love how Danny McBride acknowledges all the flaws and failures of his co-stars in the trailer. But McBride isn’t the only co-star in the film. In addition to Rogen, Franco, and McBride, This is the End also stars Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, Aziz Ansari, Rihanna, Paul Rudd, Emma Watson, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, Martin Starr, Mindy Kaling, Craig Robinson, and more.

The film basically follows the real life actors trying to survive the chaotic aftermath of the apocalypse. Fearing what lurks outside Rogen, McBride, Franco, Hill, Baruchel, and Robinson muster the courage to venture the outside world and take on whatever the apocalypse dishes out. Check out the trailer in HD on Yahoo!. This is the End opens in theaters on June 14.

SYNOPSIS:

The comedy This Is The End follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

  1. Profoundly tasteless and vulgar. Can’t imagine how or why the people behind the movie think they’re being funny.
