Spring break is the one thing the partying college student looks forward to in their academic life. But how far would one person go to get away from the laptops and textbooks? Well Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers will answer that question. The film centers on four college students (played by Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine, and Selena Gomez) who rob a local liquor store to get enough money to celebrate spring break like any college student. After the law apprehends them, a rapper who goes by the name Alien (James Franco) bails them out and promises them to keep the party life going on the condition that they keep committing crimes.

A lot of things are going on in this trailer, but it fits perfectly with the partying tone. Colors pop, the music is loud, and if you are a college student who loves to party, then this trailer is making you pumped for spring break. The MTV trailer and the international trailer may start out differently, but towards the end we start to see the same footage. I suggest you check out the MTV trailer first.

I’d like to see more of this because Franco’s character looks very interesting – which really isn’t saying much given the wide array of roles he’s had in the past. A24 will release Spring Breakers on March 22nd.
