New ‘Justice League’ Concept Art Team Line Up Released

Last week, there were some Justice League news bits that hit the internet that gave us a closer look at the film. The film’s first synopsis and early look at the new Batmobile made its way online last week, and along with that it was confirmed that it won’t be a two-part movie and that the Mother Boxes will be the MacGuffins. That would be the gist of the news.

Now Warner Brothers has released yet another piece of concept art revealing a better look at the team, although it might not be the final look of it as some of the journalists who were invited to an early set preview are revealing some interesting things about the concept art and what was seen on set. More on the story below.

The image comes to us from ComingSoon.net. Now this just concept art. The reason why we are stressing this is because it is NOT the final look of the costumes we will be seeing in the film.

We won’t focus our attention as much on the DC trinity’s costumes as they only got some minor adjustments since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. As for Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg, well, just as we’ve seen in film adaptations, costumes are probably one of the first things to get a change.

To be honest, Aquaman seems to lack the greenish color he is normally associated with. It is to a point where it looks brown. The Flash costume doesn’t even look remotely like anything we’ve seen before. No lighting wings on his mask. The signature lighting bolt against a white circle on his chest is gone. Cyborg’s look fits more in line with the DCEU as he has a bulky high-tech gear look, and not too much like what we have seen in the cartoons or other comics. Naturally, Ray Fisher will be wearing a mo-cap suit to capture the look of the character without costume designers having to make one that could work in accordance with director Zack Snyder‘s vision of the character.

But, as Peter from SlashFilm and Frosty from Collider tell us, this isn’t the final look of the team:

So it’s not clear why Warner Bros. would release the unofficial look of the team, even if it is in concept art form as opposed to the official look. One would think that the studio would at least tease us with it since the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition had its one-night theatrical run and is set to hit Digital HD and Blu-ray soon. But we will get to see it eventually. And when that time comes you can be sure we will write about it.

Here’s the official plot synopsis.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes “” Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash -“” it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League opens November 10, 2017.
