E3 2013: Zombies Are Everywhere In This ‘Dead Rising 3′ Gameplay Demo

Dead Rising 3 is officially on the way, and the first gameplay demo for the game was shown off at E3 2013 this week.
Whether you’re a fan of the franchise or not, one thing remains increasingly undeniable: boy, they sure get a lot of zombies on your screen. Known for their hordes of undead as well as the wide variety of weapons available to you for dispatching them, Capcom’s game series always gives you your money’s worth if all you’re seeking is to bash the remaining life out of the walking dead, and that clearly has not changed at all here.

E3 2013: Creepy Quantic Dream PS4 Tech Demo Guy Gets His Own Game

Remember that super creepy yet unbelievably realistic old man’s head Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls developer Quantic Dream’s David Cage showed at PlayStation 4 event to share an example of how powerful the machine was? Many people said it looked that good because it was only one giant floating nightmare head, which may be true to a point. But now Quantic has taken it another step with a full tech demo of a game titled The Dark Sorcerer featuring that same creepy head (who turns out to be Braveheart and Ghandi star David Gant) with a body now attached to it and all sorts of other stuff going on.
Unfortunately it is just a tech demo; at first I was pretty excited it was an actual game (having missed the text at the beginning). Then things take a bit of a turn, and you’ll know exactly when that is when you watch the video below. It’s well worth your time, I assure you. [...]

The demo also touches on some of the various things you’ll be doing in the game, such as analyzing evidence and putting all of the pieces together or tracking down and disarming bombs that have been planted by Anarky.

E3 2013: First Gameplay Demo For ‘Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag’

It wouldn’t be E3 without a new Assassin’s Creed game, and now that Ubisoft appears to have learned not to linger too long in one time period, the games have grown more and more exciting.
One of the most popular new features of the last game,
Assassin’s Creed III, was by far the naval gameplay. Interest in the game ignited after that incredible naval gameplay demo was shared at last year’s E3, and Ubisoft is smartly capitalizing on that with Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. The new game will let us be something most people have dreamed of or pretended being as a kid: pirates!

E3 2013: New ‘Beyond: Two Souls’ Trailer & 22-Minute Gameplay Demo Is Here

The next game from Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream, Beyond: Two Souls, is definitely one of the most anticipated upcoming games. We got our first look at the game and its star, Ellen Page, at last year’s E3. Then came that incredible 35-minute gameplay demo, and that’s all you really needed to see.
E3 2013 brings with it another lengthy gameplay demo—this one slightly shorter at only 22 minutes—as well as a new trailer. The gameplay demo isn’t as good as the 35 minute one, but still very worth watching. And before you ask, no, I do not know why Ellen page is subtitled and little Salim is not.
You can check out the new trailer and gameplay demo for Beyond: Two Souls below now. [...]

E3 2013: Two New ‘Call Of Duty: Ghosts’ Gameplay Demos Released

The other big first-person shooter franchise being shown off at E3 2013, Call of Duty, also happens to be the undefeated king of the genre. Battlefield 3 tried to take a run at the crown when it came out—and many were convinced it would take COD out—but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 once again proved emphatically that the throne is still theirs to sit. Now Battlefield 4 is on the way, and it has Call of Duty: Ghosts in its sights.
It’s an interesting year for Call of Duty, as it’s Infinity Ward’s turn to take the wheel but they are not making the fourth installment in the Modern Warfare series as many expected. Instead it’s Ghosts, and a chance to try something new. Though judging by these new gameplay demos, it’s still the Call of Duty game you’d expect it to be. That said, they have brought in Oscar-winning filmmaker Stephen Gaghan to help with the story, so it could surprise some people in the end.
You can check out two new gameplay demos for Call of Duty: Ghosts below now, one of which shows how you can use your new canine companion, and the other shows some underwater action. [...]

E3 2013: New Trailer & First Gameplay Demo For ‘Halo’ Creator Bungie’s Next Game ‘Destiny’

Another impressive gameplay demo shown off at E3 was for Destiny, the next endeavor for Halo creators Bungie, which is a first-person shooter that also has multiplayer elements.
The game is set 700 years in the future after the Golden Age—an age of peace, prosperity, technological advancement, and exploration that saw humans spreading out and colonizing various planets in the Solar System—before an apocalyptic event known as the Collapse destroyed almost everything, ended the Golden Age, and left known survivors only on Earth, where a giant sphere known as the Traveler (seen above)—which gave humans the power to expand into space centuries earlier—protects them.
In Destiny you’ll play as a Guardian of the City who must investigate and neutralize hostile alien races who have taken over some of the former colonies humans had established and once occupied, and are on their way to the City, where the surviving human race is now living.
You can check out a new trailer for the game and a co-op gameplay demo below now. [...]

E3 2013: New ‘Battlefield 4′ Gameplay Demo & Multiplayer Demo Videos

As expected, Dice and EA had plenty of new goodies to show off at E3 2013 for their next installment in the Battlefield franchise, Battlefield 4.
First came a brand new gameplay demo, and while it’s not as long as the first one we saw, it is every bit as intense. Ever seen an aircraft carrier split in half in the middle of the ocean? Dormant fighter jets and gravity used against your enemies? Buckle up. Then came the first multiplayer demo for the game, which shows off Commander mode.
Check out both Battlefield 4 demos below now. [...]

To try and win back some of the fans who are angry about Xbox One, Microsoft was all about showing off some of the games that will be exclusive to their system at their E3 2013 presentation.
Perhaps the most exciting of them is a game called Ryse: Son of Rome from developer Crytek, who is the company behind the hit Crysis games. This new game follows a Roman general named Marius Titus, and in the first gameplay demo we see him leading his soldiers into an intense battle.
The game uses quick time events in combat, which could be met with mixed emotions, but overall it looks an exciting new game to keep an eye on. You can check out the gameplay demo for Ryse below. [...]

Must Watch: Young Steven Spielberg & Friends React To ‘JAWS’ Oscar Nominations

A long, long time ago in the year 1976 A.D., far before the internet and video blogging and Skype and Tout and Vine, a young gentleman named Steven Spielberg documented himself and some acquaintances (one of whom is The Godfather and Rocky actor Joe Spinell) watching the 48th annual Academy Awards nominations being announced.
