Stephen King's IT Movie

Yesterday we were given a new poster and a teaser for IT, the new movie adaptation of Stephen King‘s book of the same name, with the promise of a first trailer being released sometime today.

That sometime is now, as the first trailer—and our first real look at the movie that has both excited and severely worried fans of the book and the 1990 TV movie adaptation starring Tim Curry as Pennywise the clown over the past few years—has now been released to the masses.

‘Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2’ Details And Release Date Revealed

When it was announced that Disney would be releasing Wreck-It Ralph 2, fans really got excited. The title character (voiced by John C. Reilly) and Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) would be returning for an all new arcade adventure that would be set on the Internet.

But sometimes sequel titles can be as simple as adding a number after the title or just adding a subtitle. But not for Disney, who had their presentation at CinemaCon2017 last night. They revealed a few of their titles to theater owners, including a new title for Wreck-It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2. More on the story below.

‘Veep’ Director Signs On For ‘Dirty Rotten Scoundrels’ Remake Starring Anne Hathaway, Rebel Wilson

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

It’s being reported that Chris Addison has signed on to direct a remake of the 1988 Steve Martin and Michael Caine comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels for MGM.

The remake will be titled Nasty Women, and Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson are currently attached to star in the two lead roles.

Stephen King’s ‘IT’ Poster & Trailer Tease Released

The first trailer for It, the upcoming movie adaptation of Stephen King‘s horror novel, will be online tomorrow. Leading up to the event, Warner Bros. Pictures has released a teaser video for the trailer, along with a teaser poster.

Last summer, we saw a sneak peek and a full-length image of Pennywise the Clown, as well as a look at the terrifying entity lurking within sewer system beneath the town of Derry, Maine.

Trailer For ‘A Ghost Story’ Starring Rooney Mara, Casey Affleck Released

A Ghost Story

A24 has released an official trailer for A Ghost Story, an upcoming drama starring Academy Award nominee Rooney Mara and recent Oscar winner Casey Affleck.

The movie tells the story of a deceased man who returns as a ghost to comfort his wife. It’s directed by David Lowery, who previously directed Ain’t Them Bodies Saints (which also starred Mara and Affleck) and Disney’s live-action remake of Pete’s Dragons. Lowery is also set to take on another remake for Disney, Peter Pan.

One of the very best decisions that console makers Microsoft and Sony have made, is to offer free games to those who are members of their Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus programs each month. Hundreds of dollars worth of games for free each year. It makes the pill that is having to pay to play (online) much, much easier to swallow.

Zack Snyder Talks Vaguely About Superman’s Return In ‘Justice League’

A world where the Justice League exists without Superman. It’s something we’ve all seen before whether it’s in the comics or on the small screen. But now Justice League, the big screen adaptation of the superhero ensemble, will present that idea to the audience.

The Man of Steel (Henry Cavill) has been missing for the better part of the marketing campaign and has not been seen in any of the released footage. But there is an explanation for all of that, and while Zack Snyder is not likely to spoil how Supes returns specifically, he will indulge those wondering with a few vague comments. Rumor: Sony Wants ‘Venom’ As An R-Rated Movie

Spider-Man continues to be Sony’s flagship superhero. But now that studios are in the business of shared universes, Sony wants to cash in on the same success they are having. However, their first attempt was less than successful thanks in no small part to The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘s underperforming box office numbers. But now that they are sharing the Webslinger with Marvel Studios, they are going to take another stab at it starting with Venom.
