Henchman21   |

Future's End Blood Moon Teaser Banner

DC Comics had some fun in honor of the Blood Moon eclipse that occurred last night. DC has released one of their patented teasers for The New 52: Future’s End, the company’s next weekly series, set to launch May 7, 2014.

As you can see from the image below, you can get a hint of what Jeff Lemire, Brian Azzarello, Dan Jurgens, and Keith Giffen have planned for their universe spanning tale, including big parts for Batman Beyond and Grifter. Also, is that Tim Drake in his original costume in the upper left hand corner, hanging out with Booster Gold?

Take a look at the image below and let us know if you’re looking forward to The New 52: Future’s End.

‘BioShock Infinite’ Barbershop Quartet Cosplayers Sing “God Only Knows” (Video)
The Movie God   |

BioShock Infinite "God Only Knows"

One of the coolest things about BioShock Infinite is the collection of songs you hear throughout the game that are old-timey covers of popular tunes that won’t be recorded until decades after the 1912-set story. Some of the songs covered include “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” and “Tainted Love.”

My personal favorite of these songs comes early on in the game, before the story really gets started and you’re just walking around taking in the incredible world you’re visiting. When you walk past a certain point, a floating stage ship appears carrying a barbershop quartet who sing a lovely rendition of the Beach Boys classic “God Only Knows.” It’s one of many surreal and memorable moments that make Infinite a must-play.

PAX East was recently held and lots of great cosplayers attended the convention. One group of said cosplayers went as the BioShock barbershop quartet, and not only did they look the part but also delivered the song as well.

You can see a video of the quartet in the game (if you haven’t played yet) and a video of the cosplayers singing below.

‘Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!’ Announced; Gameplay Video, Screenshots Released
The Movie God   |

Borderlands: The-Pre-Sequel! Header Image

For the many fans eagerly hoping for the announcement of Borderlands 3, you’ll have to wait a bit longer. A new game in the series has been announced, but it is both a prequel and a sequel fittingly titled Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!

The game is set after the events of Borderlands and prior to the events of Borderlands 2 in what sounds like a project that began as DLC and evolved into a full standalone game. Because of this, it will run on the same engine as the last game and will only be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC—not on Xbox One or PS4.

Continue below to see a video of the game being announced, complete with details on the story, the characters you can play as (including Claptrap), and some peeks at gameplay, as well as some screenshots.

Michael Bay: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Leonardo

Four new posters have been released for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the upcoming reboot from director Jonathan Liebesman and producer Michael Bay.

The posters focus on each of the four turtles, and more specifically on their familiar weapons and colors. Unlike the new and not-so-improved heads of the turtles fans were a bit outraged over in the first trailer, these posters show off an appreciated familiarity.

You can check out the four new Ninja Turtles posters below.

It just so happens that Captain America: The Winter Soldier came out on Iron Man and The Avengers star Robert Downey Jr.‘s birthday, and he made sure to take advantage of it.

The actor invited over a bunch of kids over for a big viewing party of the sequel, and perhaps a few older kids who were just as excited to be there as the younger ones.

Fan Gives Michael Bay’s New Ninja Turtles Classic Look; Which Do You Prefer? (Images)
The Movie God   |

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Michaelangelo

Reactions to the first trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the upcoming reboot of the movie franchise being produced by Michael Bay and directed by Jonathan Liebesman, have been surprisingly mixed. Some people hate it, while others think it shows promise.

One thing that most appear to agree on, however, is that the turtles’ new look is, well…odd and creepy and perhaps a little bit Shrek-ish. Instead of the rounded nose area fans of previous TMNT comic, movie, and animated incarnations of Ninja Turtles are familiar with, it was decided to go with a flatter look and some prominent nostrils.

One fan was having none of it, and decided to photoshop the new turtles to look a little closer to the classic turtles. You can see the results below compared with the new look so you can decide for yourself which you prefer.
