‘Doctor Who’ Returns This April With New Season

Trust Your Doctor

After nearly three months without new programming, Doctor Who will return for a new season beginning April 23, 2011 on BBC America.

The first episode, penned by showrunner Stephen Moffat, kicks off a two-part story that reunites eleventh Doctor lead Matt Smith and his companions Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) and Rory (Arthur Darvill) after a special summons takes them on an adventure that starts in a Utah desert and leads all the way back to the 1969 White House in Washington, D.C.

And since the filming is on location in North America, I can’t help but wonder if those dates will overlap long enough for the cast to make appearances at a comic convention or two.

Give us your thoughts on the new TV promo art (top) in the comment section. Do you trust your Doctor?

  1. To say I’m excited does not accurately describe my emotional reaction to this news.
