Every day here at Doom HQ we receive tons of tips from our readers about really cool stuff from the world of geek, as well as promotional materials for new films, comic books, collectibles, and much more. While we do our best to bring you as much of it as possible, we don’t always have enough geek manpower available to cover it all on a daily basis. But we hate the idea of all of this really cool stuff wasting away in our inbox. How could we NOT cover it? Hence why we’ve resurrected our long-defunct column Bits Of Doom, now rebranded and revamped as Doom Digest, a collection of easily digestible bits of news, videos, photos, and other goodies.
Today: Game Of Throne‘s King Joffrey was in Batman Begins, Abed says “Cool” on Community, Alien Vs. Predator in a game of chess, a new mash-up of Alien and Prometheus, Abrams Books will publish another Star Trek “365” book, plus Bits Of Doom.
King Joffrey Was In Batman Begins
The folks over at The Keyboard Hero noticed that Jack Gleeson, who plays King Joffrey on HBO’s Game Of Thrones, was in Batman Begins when he was little.
Speaking of Alien, check out this mash-up of Alien and Prometheus.
Star Trek: The Next Generation 365
On October 1, 2012, Abrams Books will be publishing another one of their 365 books, this time it’s Star Trek: The Next Generation 365. It’s a 744-page hardcover with a 9 1/4 x 6 1/4 trim size and 500 color and black-and-white illustrations. FYI – WANT.
