Zero Dark Thirty has been kept in the dark for a very long time. None of the cast or crew were able to speak about it and no one really knew what we would expect from the film, other than that it was about the manhunt that led to the assassination of Osama Bin Laden. Now we got our first trailer for the film. Check it out below.
Zero Dark Thirty is the follow up to Kathryn Bigelow’s Academy Award-winning film The Hurt Locker. As mentioned above, the film follows the events that led up to Bin Laden’s death. We only get to see a few glimpses of the characters involved in the process, but the tone is what you would come to expect when watching an intense military film. The trailer doesn’t shed too much light on what we will see in Zero Dark Thirty, even though most of us know what’s going to happen to the terrorist.
There are also five images below. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly for providing both the trailer and these new images.
Written by Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker), Zero Dark Thirty stars Chris Pratt, Jessica Chastain, Mark Strong, Scott Adkins, Joel Edgerton, and Kyle Chandler and opens in theaters on December 19th. What do you think?
