The Fate of the Jedi novel series saw the revival of an ancient breed of Sith, from the days of the Lord Naga Sadow. This Lost Tribe of the Sith controlled the natives on the planet Kesh for centuries, until they finally found their way off planet, and into their old galaxy to face the Jedi Knights head on. Yet while the concept of the Lost Tribe of the Sith unfastens numerous possibilities for new stories set on the planet Kesh, the new Spiral trade paperback from Dark Horse instead delivers very little of unique value to the Expanded Universe.

It has been a few generations since the Sith Lords crash landed on Kesh, and the Tribe of the Sith have control of the main continent on the planet, populated by the native Keshiri. While the rulers work slowly and tediously for their eventual return to the stars and revenge on the galaxy, their underlings in this relatively new society strive for control and power of the Tribe itself.

The latest issue of IDW’s Doctor Who enters the second part of a new story arc called Sky Jacks, which (plot wise) is about as mad as many of the episodes of the long-lived and much-loved television series. The current issues have now moved on from the Pond days of the Matt Smith Eleventh Doctor era, and now Clara Oswald, our new companion, is included in the IDW series.

The opening of this issue features a reunion between Clara and the Doctor – both have been sucked into a dimensional universe thingy of some kind through a white hole, that’s made their arrival more than timey wimey: for the Doctor, he’s been there three years (and now has a huge beard), and for Clara, it’s only been a few hours.

Some say it’s the most popular sitcom from the 2000s. Others deem it has a cult following. Either way, Arrested Development has become a phenomenon among its fans – a show that, while created by Mitchell Hurwitz, is driven mainly by Ron Howard. Taking the conception of filming a sitcom using the style of reality television, and littering the show with pop culture references (as well as its own memes that it develops over time), Arrested Development is an amusing viewing experience, though overrated.

The series takes on the concept of "riches to rags", of a wealthy family that fall on bad times when their father George Bluth (the CEO, played by Jeffrey Tambor) is arrested by the SEC. Taking a massive hit to the company, son Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman) takes on the responsibility of bringing the business back to profitability while trying to keep his family together.
