The Hostel series created by Eli Roth continues with Hostel Part III, a slice that while lacking in certain departments and doesn’t have the punch of the first two chapters, has a few turns and gory scenes that will make it worth a glance for horror fans. The third Hostel movie is set in the United States, specifically Las Vegas, where the Elite Hunting organization has either relocated or established a new “franchise.” Despite the fact that the motives remain the same, allowing the elite to murder, maim, and torture those that "would not be missed", and a new twist adds the Vegas gambling element – allowing members to place bets on expressions of the torture as it happens before a live audience. Finding themselves mixed up in the turmoil are protagonist Scott (Brian Hallisay) and his buddies, who head to Vegas for his Bachelor Party, which turns into more than what they, and the Elite Hunting members, expect”¦

| ‘Oldboy’ Celebrates National Fortune Cookie Day |

Today is National Fortune Cookie Day and the Oldboy remake is celebrating. Check out the poster here below, which shows just how Oldboy celebrating, along with the special fortune that’s inside the cookie. The marketing has been quite interesting so far for this American remake, directed by Spike Lee and starring Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, and Sharlto Copley. During San Diego Comic-Con back in July, FilmDistrict had Oldboy hotel escorts carrying yellow umbrellas outside the convention center “waiting to serve you” at the Oldboy Hotel.

| Scientist, Entrepreneur, and Pioneering Sound Engineer Ray Dolby Is Dead
Dr. Ray Dolby, founder and guiding force behind Dolby Laboratories from 1965 to 2009, died on Thursday at his home in San Francisco, CA, according to an announcement by the company. He was 80. The exact circumstances of Dolby’s death were not included in the announcement, but he lived with Alzheimer’s disease for several years and was diagnosed with acute Leukemia in July of this year. During those 80 years of life, he amassed a fortune of approximately $2.9 billion dollars, was awarded more than 50 U.S. Patents, and fundamentally changed how we watch and listen to media in the modern world.

| Take An Early Look At ‘Thor: God of Thunder #14’
The previous epic story from Thor: God of Thunder was one of the surprise hits of the Marvel Universe. The two story arcs were The God Butcher and The God Bomb and these two runs are must-reads for both Thor fans and fans of fantasy storytelling. That story has ended and the next story arc from the creative team of writer Jason Aaron and artist Ron Garney promises to be even more fantastical with many of the tropes of traditional fantasy stories, including dragons coming more into play. The new story, which just began in issue #13 titled the Accursed, promises the return of one of Thor’s most powerful enemies, Malekith!
