| New 4-Minute ‘No Man’s Sky’ Gameplay Video Released |

If the couple of minutes of new No Man’s Sky gameplay shown at the recent Game Awards wasn’t enough for you, four more minutes of the game were presented over the weekend at Sony’s PlayStation Experience event. The new gameplay demo really tries to give you an idea of just how astonishingly massive the folks over at Hello Games are aiming. It starts in one area, exploring a bit, before moving on to another area…far, far, far, far away. It also gives an idea of what it looks like to discover a new area. For those unfamiliar with the game, if you find a new galaxy, planet, lifeform, and so on in your travels, you’re locked in as the discoverer and anyone else who visits later will see you were the one who found it. The video, which you can watch below, certainly will not help those who have been worried that the game cannot be what we’ve been told it will be feel any better, but it sure helps build on that excitement we’ve had since it was first unveiled a year ago. And if you are one of those who are worried, there’s also a special bonus video just for you below.

| The Digital Wire Blu-ray/DVD Release News: If It Bleeds, It Leads
If there is a theme to this week’s edition of The Digital Wire – and I always try to find at least one – it must be blood. The four big new release announcements of the week share plenty of the warm red stuff that gives life. Blood is spilled, drank, and exploited for fun and profit in vast quantities. Whether it be in digitally enhanced, kid-friendly PG-13 form or in relentless and brutal hard-R form, that which is thicker than water (and much tastier as a barbecue ingredient, or so I’m told) is all over these upcoming releases. Below you’ll find info on several future home video releases complete with technical specs, release dates, and links to pre-order at Amazon. We would greatly appreciate it if you use those links to order because a small percentage of each order helps keep this website running at max power. The cover art for certain titles has yet to be finalized.

| Massive Metal Monday: “Revolution Is My Name” By Pantera
Pantera was indisputably the most massive metal band of the ’90s, carrying the torch of metal through the grunge years and carving out a sound that was all their own. Today, on the 10th anniversary of the senseless murder of guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott at the hands of a deranged fan, we salute the force of nature that was Pantera and remember a fallen brother. Forget your tears and moments of silence, today we throw back a drink and crank this shit up, because that’s the way that Dime would’ve wanted it. Check out the first single from Pantera’s final studio album, Reinventing The Steel. This is “Revolution Is My Name.”
