The first trailer for Season 6 of AMC’s The Walking Dead debuted today at a panel in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con. And now, that 4-minute trailer has been released online.
Watch the new trailer here below!
Also revealed at the Con today was the Season 6 premiere date: Fans will get what they’ve been waiting for when the new season airs starting Sunday, October 11, 2015 with a 90-minute episode. If that’s not enough, they will be live debuting the start of the season at New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden, according to Deadline.
Walking Dead stars Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus returned to the Comic-Con stage in the 5,000-plus hall, where said thousands and more waited outside on line all night to get in (with many NOT getting in). Steven Yeun, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chandler Riggs, Sonequa Martin-Green, Michael Cudlitz, and Lennie James also graced the stage, along with showrunner Scott Gimple and executive producers Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert, and Greg Nicotero. Gimple told fans in attendance that what we see in this new trailer might not be what it seems; also, that there will be flashback scenes in this new season, including one full flashback episode.
AMC also has a panel at the con today for Fear The Walking Dead, the prequel series set in Los Angeles, which will debut this August.
