It feels like just yesterday we saw Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool sipping some eggnog and announcing the 12 Days of Deadpool, which would end on Christmas Day with a brand new trailer for the movie.
Well, it’s already Christmas Eve, and lots of goodies have been released in the past eleven days, including videos, posters, GIFs and images, Deadpool’s gift wish list, a page from the script, and more. Today is Deadpool’s Trailer Eve, a tease of the full trailer that will be released tomorrow.
If you missed some or all of the 12 Days of Deadpool releases, you can find all of these treats below, and be sure to visit again tomorrow for the new trailer.
SYNOPSIS:
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Ryan Reynolds (Smokin’ Aces, Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place) stars as the title character, with Morena Baccarin (Firefly, Homeland) as Copycat, T.J. Miller (Silicon Valley, How to Train Your Dragon) as Weasel, Ed Skrein (The Transporter Refueled, Game of Thrones) as Ajax, Gina Carano (Haywire, Fast & Furious 6) as Angel Dust, and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead joining him on the cast.
Newly announced for the cast is Serbian actor Stefan Kapicic, who plays the 7 1/2-foot-tall Colossus in the movie.
Deadpool is directed by Tim Miller, and the screenplay is written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese (Zombieland, G.I. Joe: Retaliation). Producing is Simon Kinberg, Lauren Shuler Donner, and Reynolds.
As you’ll see below, some Deadpool emojis were announced during the 12 Days of Deadpool as well. You can get them for Apple right here, and for Android right here.
