Welcome first day of Fall 2021…. and with it come lots of new books! Last year, aka Pandemic Year 1, while self-isolating and staying indoors as much as possible, I threw myself into reading … print books, magazines, ebooks, and audiobooks. So while it was a stressful year on a whole (for all of us), I really enjoyed being able to prioritize reading. This year, what’s become Pandemic Year 2, I wanted to get outside a bit, but also continue to be on the safe side, which meant road-tripping and hiking the great outdoors. Therefore, I’ve leaned more towards audiobooks. Below are some titles — with accompanying links to the print, ebooks, and audiobooks editions — that I personally am looking forward to this Fall, presented here in order of release date, starting with those releasing in September 2021. After this main list, I’ve included some titles that came out earlier this year that you might have missed, as well as some themed Cookbooks, Crafts, and Guidebooks, along with an Audiobook Spotlight. And with the Fall comes, of course, Halloween and some spookier picks! Continue on to check out my Fall 2021 Book Recommendations…

A new destination attraction just opened in Battery Park in lower Manhattan. Pixar Putt is a Disney Pixar-inspired mini golf course located next to Pier A with views of the Statue of Liberty and The Freedom Tower on either side. The pop-up comes on the heels of Pixar’s latest film Luca, which premiered on Disney Plus earlier this Summer and was just released on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray. Celebrating the opening of Pixar Putt, Emma Berman, Giulia in Luca, was there to play a few holes and answer some of our questions. Emma, who just turned 13, is making her big screen debut in Luca and instantly became a fan favorite, especially with my 10-year-old daughter. You can check out our full video interview below.

| Video Review: ‘Heels’, The New Starz Series Pilot, Plus Q&A!
In the small town of Duffy, Georgia, a small family-owned wrestling league struggles to stay afloat, with the fake tension the sales draw, while the real tension threatens to rip it apart. Jack Spade (Stephen Amell) plays the heel against his brother Ace Spade (Alexander Ludwig), the face aka the hero. DrZaiusGod and I recently got a chance to see an advanced screening of the pilot episode of the new Starz series Heels at the Kauffman Theater in New York City, and were treated to a Q&A afterwards with some of the show’s stars, the showrunner/EP Mike O’Malley, and director Pete Segal. Check out our video discussion of the episode and the Q&A, along with the trailer of the new show, here below.
