D23 Expo 2017: Pixar’s ‘Coco’

Pixar’s Coco will attempt to chart the world of the dead. Directed by Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3) and Adrian Molina, the movie centers on Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez), who is magically transported to the world of the undead, and joins trickster Hector (voice of Gael García Bernal) on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.
We’ve already seen two trailers, and now the studio has previewed some brand new footage just in time for this year’s D23 Expo. So if you are already pleased by what you have seen so far, get ready to get even more excited by the footage description. Check it all out below.

D23 Expo 2017: ‘The Incredibles 2’

The Incredibles 2 is easily the most anticipated film out of the Pixar lineup. While the studio has had no problems with releasing sequels and prequels, finding the right story to tell for a new Incredibles film hasn’t been easy. But it looks like director Brad Bird has cracked the story, and now fans will get to see what the Parr family, or should I say The Incredibles, have been up to for the last 13 years give or take. Oh, and let’s not forget Frozone.
The presentation on Friday at this year’s D23 Expo first started out with a celebration of Enda Mode (Brad Bird) for all the great work she has done for superhero fashion. Check out the clip in the tweet below.

D23 Expo 2017: ‘Toy Story 4’

Toy Story 4‘s progress has remained under the wraps for quite some time. The last time we heard anything about the sequel was actually at D23 2015, where it was revealed that Rashida Jones and Will McCormack’s script would be a romantic animated flick that centers on Woody reuniting with his long-lost love Bo Beep. Of course, other Pixar flicks like Coco and The Incredibles 2 took precedence since they are getting released earlier. But at this year’s D23 Expo on Friday, John Lasseter revealed a little bit more about the planned fourth installment. Check it the details below.

D23 Expo 2017: ‘Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2’

We haven’t seen much from Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 since the first teaser image was released a few months back, but we knew that Ralph would be hitting the Internet superhighway. At least that’s based on the parody websites that we saw in the background of that teaser image. But now we are getting to know a little bit more about the film and how a coin-op arcade character will adapt to a cyber world full of “which princess are you?” quizzes, gifs, and online shopping. As if winning a good guy medal wasn’t already hard enough for a bad guy. See below for more on what we learned about the film on Friday at this year’s D23 Expo.

New ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Images: Kylo Ren Is Really Obsessed With Darth Vader and More

In less than two weeks, fans will finally get to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We know that J.J. Abrams is already finished with the film, and he and everyone else involved working on it are currently on a whirlwind press tour to help promote the film (not that it needs it because it pretty much markets itself). But as we wait long and longer, our anticipation grows at an incredible rate, and the TV spots that reveal nothing about the film only feeds our fever pitch. Now a set of new images have appeared to reveal a little more about The Force Awakens, but still doesn’t tell us much about the film at all.
Check out the photos after the jump.

These past few days have gotten Star Wars fans in a massive geek frenzy. Following the release of the first official poster for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the teaser videos for the trailer, and the online advance ticket sales, came the debut of the first full trailer for the film earlier today. We had gotten teeny glimpses of the film last year and during Star Wars Celebration, and another small one on Instagram, but this new trailer does so much more than just set the tone for the film itself. So just in case you missed it during tonight’s Monday Night Football game, we got the trailer for you here. But if you want something more, like a breakdown of each scene, then check out our thoughts on it here below.

John Boyega Says ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Script Made Him Cry
|
 |

Crying is only a natural reaction to something when one is experiencing something overwhelmingly emotional. It is also a reaction for some actors when reading a great script – and sometimes it’s an over-exaggerated and often overused response. But when an actor does say that, it sets the bar pretty high. A movie like Star Wars: The Force Awakens already has a pretty high bar that was set the moment we saw the first trailer for the film back in November of last year.
Disney and Lucasfilm have been on one massive marketing campaign for the highly anticipated film having released two teasers, a couple of TV spots, and various other marketing tie-ins. However, we still know very little about the film, if anything at all. While that isn’t going to change any time soon, at least not until the release of the full theatrical trailer and an updated plot synopsis, film star John Boyega is sharing his thoughts and emotional reaction to the script. Check out what he had to say in the full story below.

‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ 360-Degree Video Let’s You Experience Jakku Like Never Before

It seems that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is being used as a medium to introduce new updates to major social media platforms. During Star Wars Celebrations, hashtagging key characters allowed Twitter users to input Star Wars emjois in their tweets.
Next, Instagram introduced their landscape videos in the form of a new teaser that gave us our first look at Finn wielding Anakin’s blue lightsaber. Now Disney and Lucasfilm have teamed up once more to help launch a new 360-Degree video for Facebook. You can watch the video below.

‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ TV Spot: Kylo Ren Mystery Opponent Finally Revealed

It was inevitable. As we get closer to the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, we are beginning to see brand new, sometimes spoilerish, footage. It comes with the territory. But seeing as how restrained the marketing campaign has been, the first two teasers hardly revealed anything at all, and we will be getting our first full-length theatrical trailer sometime in the fall.
But if you can’t wait that long, if you want to see something brand new and exciting, then the Star Wars Instagram account has just released a new TV spot that reminds all of us who have been waiting for this that “There Has Been An Awakening.” Check out the latest ad below, which features brand new clips and the person Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) faces in the first teaser is finally revealed.
