Black Panther is easily one of the best Marvel Studios films to come out in recent years. And I am not just saying that because it is the most recent film to be released by the studio. The way it addresses social issues, representation, identity, and feminism and still maintains its superhero feel is incredible.

Now that Marvel is turning its attention to Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is talking about Black Panther‘s success. Check out what he had to say about it, the chances for a sequel and possible spinoffs, and more below.

One of the highlights of the first look at Avengers: Infinity War at D23 Expo 2017 was Thanos (Josh Brolin) raising his hand in the air and make a throwing motion. Only thing is, he wasn’t throwing an energy ball, he was hurling an entire celestial object at our title heroes.

Up until now, fans who didn’t get a chance to see it had to paint a mental image of that in their heads. Now they get to see what that looks like in some newly released images. As we get closer to the release of the sequel, more and more promotional material will hit the web. Then there’s the inevitable trailer, which will try to match or surpass the first trailer. We all know that Avengers: Infinity War will be the superhero film to end all superhero films. The mega-ensemble sequel will unite at least 22 heroes together for one film that sees them try to prevent Thanos from obtaining all six powerful Infinity Stones that have been hidden throughout the galaxy.

Thor: Ragnarok was my favorite of the three MCU films that came out last year and I think it’s one of the better MCU films ever. Where the first two Thor films didn’t fully connect with audiences, Ragnarok gives a full tonal shift combining the established characters with a new sense of fun and spirit. This shift is due mostly to new director Taika Waititi (What We Do In The Shadows). Everything feels different for the better in Thor’s third solo adventure with the colors brighter, the dialogue quippier, characters more memorable, and scenery more extravagant. Chris Hemsworth plays Thor, the God of Thunder, for the fifth time, this time against his older and stronger sister, the previously banished Hela (Cate Blanchett). Following the recently released teaser trailer, an official trailer for season two of the X-Men spinoff series Legion has now been released.
