The Secret Life Of Pets may follow the same premise as Toy Story, but it still makes way for a lucrative franchise. And now there’s a sequel. The new film isn’t due out in theaters for a while, but Universal and Illumination have been releasing character trailers to promote the sequel. Check out The Secret Life Of Pets 2 trailer for Chloe here below.

The trailer sees Chloe (Lake Bell) trying to get her owner’s attention by any means necessary. Whether it’s tapping her face, or shaking it. Nothing seems to work. That is until Chloe coughs up a hairball. And we get to see the side effects of catnip.

Uncle Drew Header

What first started out as a marketing bit has now turned into a full-blown movie. It’s not entirely original, but the end result can be something fun if executed properly. That’s what I can hope for in Uncle Drew. For those who may not be familiar with who Uncle Drew is, the character is actually NBA star Kyrie Irving who is dressed as an old, semi-overweight man, who goes to various neighborhood basketball courts and outplays the much younger competition. As you can imagine, in the day and age of social media, it can create some very funny videos.

Those viral videos have led up to this comedy featuring Irving playing the senior persona, with Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber, Reggie Miller, Nate Robinson, and Lisa Leslie also joining in on the fun. Check out the latest trailer below.

Oscars 2018: Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

Now that the Academy Award nominations have been announced, it’s time to take a look at some of the biggest surprises and of course the biggest snubs for this year’s Oscars. The Shape Of Water led the pack with 13 Oscar nominations including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay. Dunkirk got eight, and while a lot of it was on the technical aspects of the film, it did help Christopher Nolan score his first nomination for Best Director. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri came behind with 7, including Best Actress and two for Best Supporting Actor. So you get the gist.

But there were some things that just got flat-out snubbed, along with a few surprises as well. Check out some of these here below…

“We in the market right now for, like, a gangster pet.”

Directed by Peter Atencio (Key & Peele, The Last Man on Earth), Keanu is the age-old story of two friends who pose as ruthless gangbangers to retrieve a stolen kitten named Keanu, which – as we all know – is Hawaiian for “cool breeze over the mountains.”

Jordan Peele stars as Rell, a soft-spoken stoner whose life is forever changed when the most precious of kittens shows up at his doorstep. A graphic artist, Rell makes little Keanu the subject of his next artistic endeavor: a calendar where the kitten plays assorted characters from iconic movies like The Shining, Heat, and New Jack City. But when Cheddar (Method Man), the leader of the notorious 17th Street Blips, steals the cat, Rell and his straight-laced cousin Clarence (Keegan-Michael Key) are forced into action.
